Inspiration

Seeing a new post by my fellow blogger, Brett, I have gained the inspiration for my first post in a long, long time.

Emily's wedding ceremony was wonderful and playing trumpet for it was an honor. The reception was fun as might be expected, though I naturally did very little dancing as my favorite and really my only dancing partner was not able to make it. The wine and beer was enjoyable as was the company since many of her friends are my friends as well.

Camping was great, I may have already blogged about that. The Smoky Mountains are gorgeous and hiking in them was a blast as it always is. The camping experience (sleeping, walking around the campground, fire related activities, etc.) is better in that park than anywhere else I've been.

Visiting Kristin and her family in Wisconsin for a few days was long overdue and a great experience. I helped her pack and get ready for the big move to Del Rio as well as making a new impression on her parents and most importantly, finally seeing her after so long. The only bad part of it is that my missing her has gotten 10 times worse since leaving again and now I'm trying to figure out how to probably handle another year of long distance.

The time between my last post and this was also littered with little fun things like disc golfing several times, playing at a tournament with my dad for real golf, and a fun day here or there with some of my close friends from around here, but touching on all of those events would make this post even more unbearably long for you readers than it already is.
