sizemore...

is pretty much amazing. 4/5 with 7 RBIs. Wow. THat's all I have to say. 3 run HR and a bases clearing 3 run triple. He was hitting the seams off the ball today. Lee picks up his 18th win also. Great day to go to the ballpark. 10-3 victory was perfect. We're streaking too. Now we're only 8 under .500 instead of 14. Maybe we'll make the season look respectable after all. only finish 3 or 4 under rather than much worse.

I have to pack up my car tomorrow to leave for VU on Saturday morning. Perhaps I should have begun organizing a while ago...instead of leaving all the work for tomorrow. Can it just be Saturday with everything already packed??? Guess not.

moving back soon

So...I move back on Saturday and I expect to see some people and do some stuff before classes resume. So contact me, or expect to be contacted. Attempting to fit everything into my "old man's car" should be a fun task, but I think I'm up to the challenge.

I did some shopping today at outlet malls in preperation for a student teaching semester. That was fun. Also picked up some extremely comfortable sandals.

I really don't have a whole lot to talk about, because I think everyone knows about Michael Phelps and everyone will see pictures of Kristin's visit and my vacation upon my return. That is all for now.

checking in...

...to say that vacation was amazing. The reunion was a great time with 118ish of my relatives gathering at Montgomery Bell State Park. Spending time in the Smokies hiking and camping was a ton of fun too. For pics...see me at VU in a few weeks.

This week back in Mentor has been average...nothing exciting to report, but tonight I'm going to go see Dvorak's Ninth played by the Cleveland Orchestra at their summer home, Blossum Music Center. Hopefully, I can get back into the swing of updating this blog more often.
